Sri Venkateswara Engineering College (SVEC) is a private, self financed college. It provides technical education in the field of Engineering and Technology. It was established in the year 2009 by Shri. A.V.P. Reddy and Shri. M. Ramaiah to create globally competitive technocrats. Mr. Reddy is an Engineer turned Educationist (technocrat alumnus of BITS, Pilani) and Mr. Ramaiah was an executive council member of Sri Krishnadevaraya University. Both the visionaries realised the vast potential of industrial development in the National Capital Region at village Pipli Khera, District Sonepat and the end result, SVEC. The college is managed by Sri Venkateswara Charitable Trust (SVCT), Hyderabad. SVEC is SVCT’s first college in north India.

The SVC Trust already has a number of institutes in south India under its patronage.

The college is approved by AICTE, Haryana Govt. It is affiliated with Directorate of technical Education Govt. of Haryana and DCR University of science and technology. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute. The college building is constructed over an area of 12.5 Acres.

Location – SVEC is located on NH l, Delhi-Ambala Road, Village Pipli Khera, District Sonipat which is about 7 kms. from Murthal and  40 kms. from Delhi-Karnal Bypass.

SVEC Facilities

Hostel – The institute provides separate hostel for boys and girls. The hostel mess provides vegetarian, nutritious and hygienic food.

Library - The library includes large number of books, periodicals, project reports, CD, DVD, multimedia kits, bar-code scanners, text and graphic scanners. It is fully automated and uses library software called Libasoft.

Transportation - The institute has a fleet of buses for the commutation of students and staff

Scholarships – The college provides a range of scholarships and awards to the meritorious students. Some of these are offered by the government others are provided by the college itself.

Training and Placement Cell - The college has dedicated placement cell within the campus. It is headed by people who have close association with renowned corporate houses, leading head hunters, top recruitment companies and placement consultants. Special emphasis is laid on providing job-oriented training to the students and also in inculcating the culture of Entrepreneurship for self employment. The cell arranges campus interviews for the outgoing trained graduates to ensure placements.

Loans - The college facilitates educational loans to students through various nationalized banks.

Auditorium – There is a fully air conditioned auditorium with seating capacity of more than 200 people. It is equipped with latest audio-visual system which enhances the effect of conferences, seminars, symposiums and other cultural events.

Sports & Co-Curricular Activities – The college organises Annual Sports Meet in the campus. Facilities for various indoor and outdoor games are also available.

Medical Facilities - The institute provides 24 hours medical facilities to the students and its employees in campus. A dormitory is available for student and staff. Regular medical checkups are conducted for the students and staff in the campus.
