Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu known for its contribution to technical education and industrial development in Southern India has now yet another but unique engineering institution in the name of EASA College of Engineering and Technology(ECET) located at Navakkarai on the Coimbatore-Palakkad Highway(NH-47).

Well connected by air, rail and road to all major cities in India, Coimbatore offers many advantages in terms of its strong science and technology base, abundant educational and research resources, a good cultural mosaic and an impressive entrepreneurial history.

ECET has been so conceived as to make the best use of all these advantages. The College is situated in a vast land abutting the NH-47, the site selected by the management judiciously for an ideal institutional setting, surrounded by lush green coconut grooves and mountains, at an altitude of 411 meters above the M.S.L., with moderate weather round the year and mild short summer. The College nurtures and preserves its natural environment, maintains pollution free air, water and land.

Free from litters and other pollutants alongside its planned hi-tech complex and a pleasant humane learning environment to make the College a preferred destination for joyful learning, enjoyable teaching and meaning research, is the management's cherished vision. The College was established by Easa Foundations, Coimbatore, a public charitable and educational trust, under the Chairmanship of its Managing Trustee, Thiru.T.D.Eswaramoorthy, The College is a Sourastrian minority institution. The Object of the foundations is to impart high quality instruction and training and foster research in the fields of science, engineering, technology and management by establishing educational institutions with futuristic and global outlook.
