ICF, through its Entrepreneurship programs, co-developed by NID-Ahmadabad and IIT-Delhi, takes the initiative of discovering those talented and successful individuals who have both the flair and business edge to become future leaders and champions of the local fashion industry. Fashion Entrepreneurship aims to build strong professional foundation of technical and managerial ability for effective decision making. It usually involves planning, organizing, directing and controlling the input of suppliers, contractors and the design team members, together with accepting the associated business risks. It targets towards individuals who aspire to build their autonomous brand identity in the fashion industry.

Faculty

Vinod Gupta:- Shri Vinod Gupta is Director (Project) at National Institute for Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management (NIESBUD) for the last 25 years. He has 38 years experience spanning academics, training, consultancy, banking and marketing. He is a Mechanical Engineer from IIT, Delhi where he was a scholarship holder. His post-graduate specialization has been in financial management. He has authored/edited 22 books including a Directory of EDP Organizations and three research-based studies, besides manuals for entrepreneurs and their trainers. He is a visiting faculty to a number of Universities, management institutions and his alma mater, IIT, Delhi.

Gulbash Duggal:- She has been associated with Design Academics for last 15 years. She is a graduate in Interior Design with specialization in Home Furnishings & Accessory Design, Suffle University, USA and is an Executive MBA, Tripura University. Prior to joining the academics field, she has been associated with the domestic and export sectors specializing in home fashions and Accessories. She has worked extensively in the areas of retail, homemade-ups, and craft textiles in India. As a professional trainer she has worked with craftsmen and entrepreneurs and Institutes in areas of design, skill, and product and strategy development.

Shailesh Kumar Singh:- A PG Diploma holder, LGDT, 95-97 Batch NIFT, New Delhi, is a Director, Fashion Folio Trading Pvt. Ltd. Sourcing. He has worked for Zanelini Exports as a Project Manager and as Indian Head for Leather Quest Inc. USA, a Buying House, Sourcing Leather Garments and Skins. He has also been teaching for last 5 years with NIFT and Wigan & Leigh.

Ms. Bharti Mishra:- She is Presently working as a consultant Designer with SATYA PAUL,Have acted as guide to the senior students for their Research and Design development projects. Did Design projects with A-Tex in karoor for Scandinavian Countries. She has also worked as Abelympics for Amar Jyoti Foundation and was a jury member in the block printing event for both International and National Categories and for Govt. of Orrisa Handicrafts to promote Saura painting & developed textile accessories.

Deepti Bhandari:- A fashion designer from NIFT New Delhi, has worked with Eegance Multicolor as Fashion Coordinator and Merchandiser. She is a visiting Faculty in IMS-Academy of Fashion & Jewelry Design and in JD Institute of Fashion technology specializing in fashion designing and product Development.

Mr. Saurabh Kalra:- Saurabh Kalra is an MBA from JIMS in Service Marketing and Graduate in Commerce from Delhi University and Professional Graduate in Fashion Merchandising and Production Technology from Pearl Academy of Fashion. Saurabh is a Certified NEN-Goldman Sachs Faculty Scholar Mentor by London Business School. He is a Fashion Entrepreneur and also a Corporate Consultant being Visiting Faculty, Mentor, Trainer, Content Developer and Jury member with various Management, Professional & Educational Institutes in Delhi, NCR and other states. His affiliations are with PAF, Amity, ICF, Modart, JIMS, GDGWI, FDDI, MRIU and many Corporate Institutions like Li& Fung, Ethopian Embassy etc. His core competencies and expertise lies in the arena and domain of Entrepreneurship, International Business, Retailing & Marketing. He has been presented with Young Entrepreneur Award by JIMS in Sept’07.

Aastha Garg:- A Post Graduate Diploma holder in Garment Manufacturing Technology (GMT) from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi (2001-2003) and has Worked in NIRVAN CLOTHING, Noida, as Senior Merchandiser and also with National Institute of Fashion Technology (Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India), Delhi, as a Visiting faculty for Apparel costing, Industrial engineering and Apparel Quality control. She is presently working as a guest faculty in Satyam Fashion Institute, Noida, Hierank Business School, Noida and Design Innovation Academy (DIA), Noida.

Raj Chaudhary:- A Fashion designer from NIFT New Delhi, with a deemed specialization in creative pattern making, advanced draping, styling, graphic designing, He has Worked with Shahi Export House, as a designer and as a Senior Technical Designer at SQ Group, Bangladesh. He has also Conducted 15 day’s module on Advance Pattern Making with the post graduate students of Apparel Design & Merchandising at PG Campus, NID Gandhinagar, and Ahmadabad.

Rita Sengupta:- A Bachelor of Arts (Psychology Hons.) and Master of Arts (Psychology)from University of Delhi, she is presently a Director (Behavioural Science), National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) Noida.

R.K. Chandra:- Superannuated from SBI: in Jan’06, at 60 years of age, and served as Senior Officer of State Bank of India, under Local Head Office, Patna for over 37 years. He worked in various positions of Key Responsibility. Guest Faculty at Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Dairy Technology, Patna., SISI Institute, and Institute of Entrepreneurship Development, Patna. He is also a Guest /Visiting Faculty at L.N.M. Institute of Economic Development and Social Change, Patna, for MBA Students in Financial (Portfolio) Management, International Business.
