Admission Procedure:-

Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admission

Qualified candidate of UPTU-SEE/ AIEEE& having qualification to appear in UPTU-SEE and/or 60% in total (55% for SC/ST) of aggregate in compulsory & optional subject and min. 40% (35% SC/ST) in each compulsory and optional subjects.

• Physics & Chemistry (At Intermediate Level)
• Mathematics, Bio-Tech., Computer Science, Biology (At Intermediate Level)

Labs:-

RBCP has well-equipped and modernized laboratories to cater practical training requirements of pharmacy courses. These include

Pharmaceutics Lab:

There are two Pharmaceutics Labs with a separate preparation room. The labs have all the modern machines. The Pharmaceutics  lab includes the preparation of drug product using traditional approaches (mortar and pestle, spatula and slab) as well as modern technology. Basic equipments include water bath, hot plate, magnetic stirrer, oven, electronic balance and vortex. More sophisticated equipments (optical microscope, sieve shaker, planetary mixer, homogenizer,  tablet press, plishing pan, hardness tester (also measures the thickness and diameter of the tablet), friabilator, Dissolution apparatus,disintegration apparatus are also available.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab:

The department of pharmaceutical Analysis have central instrumentation room well equipped with sophisticate instrument like Double beam UV-Spectrophotometer, Karl Fisher, Flame photometer, Kjeldahl apparatus, Potentiometer and conductivity meter.It has also got instrument like refractometer, polarimeter, viscometer & hot air oven.Beside this the college has two pharmaceutical chemistry labs with a separate balance room equipped with sophisticated balances and a separate store having necessary glassware and chemicals.

Pharmacology Lab:

The pharmacology lab is having all the modern and latest equipments. A separate Anatomy & path physiology lab is there with batteries of Microscope and all testing equipment like stethoscope, Digital glucometer, and BP instrument. It has a separate animal house and smoking room equipped with modern machines.

Pharmacognosy Lab:

There is a botanical garden with various medicinal plants besides the lab with modern microscopes and latest equipments like Microtone, clavenger apparatus, soxhlet apparatus.

Pharmaceutical Microbiology Lab:

A well equipped microbiology lab with latest and modern equipments like BOD, Incubator, and Laminar Flow along with a separate aseptic room.

Engineering Drawing Lab:

The Institute is equipped with essential gadgets required for proper running of practicals of engineering drawing.
