Educare Institute of Dental Sciences, established in 2007 were one among the top dental colleges in Kerala. Today, it’s risen to claim the status of one of the top institutions in Kerala conferring a dental degree. This institution provides quality dental education that is at par with modern dentistry taught and applied in world dentistry curriculum. Equipped with state of the art facilities, the institute plays an appreciable role in the comprehensive development of its students.

Affiliations:-

It is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHAS) and recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI).

Student Annual Intake:-

Student intake was 50 for undergraduate BDS course was initially 50 and was later increased to 100 in 2014.

Faculty:-

A highly qualified, experienced, dedicated faculty is the backbone of our institution. Every department has ample teachers to cater to the needs of the 100 students.

Accessibility:-

College campus located on the Kottakal- Perinthalmanna highway provides easy access for the students as well as for patients.

Infrastructure:-

The college buildings, clinics and laboratories are built as per the norms laid down by the Dental Council of India. The college has multiple lecture halls which are airy, well-lit, and is equipped with latest audio-visual teaching aids.

Library and Internet Access:-

Our spacious, well-lit library is stocked with reference books, National & International Journals and provides a serene atmosphere to soak into your studies. An internet kiosk in the library section provides and facilitates the students and the faculty to have free access to online journals through EBSCO. Photocopying facility is available in the library to help the users.

Clinics and Laboratory Facilities:-

Clinics and laboratories are equipped with global cutting-edge modern technology, in both educational fronts and in patient care. Sophisticated CBCT machine is now available in our college which makes diagnosis and treatment planning much more accurate and reliable.

Hostel Facilities:-

We have separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with well-furnished rooms and amenities. The overall atmosphere is conducive for the students to concentrate on studies. Round-the-clock security, hostel warden, round the clock generator, dispensary facilities are also available. A well-equipped gym is also available inside the hostel.

Canteen:-

Cafeteria is located within the campus which provides meals, snacks and beverages. It is an ideal place to chill out and unwind with friends to counteract the stress of a hectic schedule.

Dental Camps and Other Philanthropic Contributions:-

We aim to produce the best dentists who can excel not only with their knowledge and exemplary clinical skills but also in their compassion towards all walks of society. We organize free dental camps to endow consciousness on dental health among the public. BUDS, a special needs school for differently abled children have been adopted by Educare and periodic oral health services are provided for them. Tribal colonies of Malappuram are being explored, to ensure total promotive and rehabilitative oral health care.
