Mohammadiya Institute of Pharmacy is established in the year 2007. The college is been approved by the PCI/AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Kakatiya University, Warangal for an annual intake of 120. Offering co-education, the college is spread on the sprawling campus of amidst picturesque environs facing the Historical City Khammam. IT savvy infrastructure, state-of-the-art laboratories and eminent teaching faculty are exclusive strengths of the institution.

The goal of the Pharmacy College is not only to excel in the field of education but also to conduct social and technology outreach programs. The College of pharmacy seeks to bridge the ever-widening gap between modern pharmaceuticals and traditional drug systems. Towards this end our College of pharmacy plans to train herbal pharmacists to work on traditional formulations in collaboration with traditional practitioners, devising methods of cultivation, standardization, and scientific explanation of the process. The Mohammadiya Institute of Pharmacy also has programmes for phytochemists to do research on isolation of molecules of herbal drugs as part of pharmacological studies, with phased clinical trials.

The basic degree course of Pharmacy education is designed to ensure that the newly qualified pharmacist has the necessary knowledge and skills to commence practicing competently in a variety of settings including community and hospital pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry. Continuing professional development must then be a lifelong commitment for every practicing pharmacist. The education, which a pharmacy student receives, will affect the knowledge gained, the skills learned and the attitudes taken. All of which have an impact on how a pharmacy graduate will practice pharmacy in the future. Mohammadiya Institute of Pharmacy is an Institute where the students are inspired and guided and they are trained with best knowledge and all the possible skills.

• To undertake sponsored research project from industry and Govt. agencies to which the college is well equipped.
• To conduct research in emerging areas of pharmaceutical sciences and assist in the betterment of human health care.
• To conduct seminars, workshops, conferences and continuing education programs for academicians and professional pharmacists.
