A.C. Patil College of Engineering was established in the year 1992. The full name of the College is Annasaheb Chudaman Patil College of Engineering Kharghar. It affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The Annasaheb Chudaman Patil College of Engineering Kharghar was established in the year 1992. It is a Private College and is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The College belongs to the Jawahar Education Society which was founded by Shri Rohidas Patil, a distinguished social worker and formerly a Minister in the Maharashtra Government. It offers Bachelor of Engineering courses in Electronics, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering. The College Campus is spread over an area of three acres with built up area of approximately 52,000 sq.ft. The College is conveniently located close to the bus depot and has all amenities of city life.

Facilities

Central Library - The Library provides access to information through more than 16,500 books. It subscribes to over 115 journals at national and international level. It has more than 250 on line Technical e-Journals under AICTE scheme. The Library is equipped with Internet and Multimedia facilities. The Institute is a member of British library and IIT Bombay, Library  for the benefit of faculty and students. In addition to these books the Library offers the book bank  facility to the First year and economically weaker section students.

Training Cell - It has been set up for the development of overall personality of the students. It gives them a platform to hone their communication and presentation skills, and disseminate information through departmental news letters. Regular meets of senior passed out students provide a platform for exchange of industrial requirements & information.

Placement Cell - Student visit reputed industries like MTNL, VSNL, Siemens among many others well known names. Co-Curricular Activities - Various Co-curricular activities, ranging from sports to music and extremely popular Intercollegiate Technical Festival 'VECTORS' bring out the lesser known talents in our students, so that they mature into well rounded personalities besides excelling in academics.

2.  Computer Engineering Laboratory

• 460 PCs out of which 360 are of the latest configuration Pentium IV machines.
• High end IBM Server X 336 available for computer engineering students.

3.  Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Lab:

• 65 PCs with latest configuration Pentium IV machines.
• High end IBM Server X 336.

4.  Department of Instrumentation Engineering:

• 600+ PCs out of which 450 are latest configuration Pentium IV machines.
• High end IBM Server X 336.

5.  Department of Humanity and Basic Sciences:

• 65 PCs with latest configuration Pentium IV machines.
• High end IBM Server X 336 available for First Year engineering students.
• Well equipped Chemistry Lab, Physics Lab, Communication Skill Lab and CP labs.

Department of MMS:

• 600+ PCs (& 80+ printers) out of which 450 are latest configuration Pentium IV machines.
• High end IBM Server X 336 available to all engineering and management students.
• A separate PC Lab equipped with all facilities like broadband internet, 60+ P-IV latest machines is exclusively available for MBA students between 9.00 am and 7.30 pm.
