Ram Ratan Singh College a constituent unit of Magadh University, Bodh Gaya was established in the year 1957, Ram Ratan Singh College is situated at Sakarwar Tola, Mokama (Patna), Bihar. The College offers various courses from Undergraduate level to Bachelor Degree Level (I.A, I.sc, B.A., B.Sc.). Apart from these courses, it also offers some important and useful add- on-courses for the benefit of students. The college offers the courses including science courses also.

It has a good infrastructure of a fully developed Library, lab & aims to offer in near future all facilities that students need for global competition. The faculty members have been actively engaged in academic pursuits in addition to the institutional responsibilities. Students, administration and faculty work together as a team to make the college academically sound and competent. Ram Ratan Singh College aims to nurture intellectual vigour and a sense of responsibility among students. Seminars, group discussions and lectures by eminent specialists add a new interest to subjects learnt in the classroom.

 

Facilities:-

 

The campus comprises of aesthetic architecture, permanent structures confined to respective activities - the Academic buildings, Labs, Library, Auditorium, Playgrounds etc.

 

Library

 

We have library with reading room, which can accommodate adequate students. The library adequately equipped with books covering wide range of disciplines of academic and non-academic interest.

 

Lab facilities

 

Subject wise Lab facilities are available:-

 

• Physics Lab
• Chemistry Lab
• Botany Lab
• Zoology Lab
• Psychology Lab

 

NSS/NCC

 

NSS/NCC facility has also been provided in the College which aims at inculcating the spirit of voluntary work among the students and teachers through sustained community interactions. It brings the academic elite closer to the society. It shows how to combine knowledge and action to achieve results which are conductive to community development.

 

Playgrounds

 

The sports and games facilities at the campus make the students attain physical growth and sportsman spirit.

 

Parking

 

Ample space has been provided for parking two wheelers and four wheelers with good security. Four wheelers are not allowed for students.
