Shri Bhawani Niketan Mahila PG Mahavidyalaya or Bhawani Niketan Women’s Post Graduate College is amongst the leading arts college in Jaipur. It was established in July 1990 and is managed by Shri Bhawani Niketan Shiksha Samiti. The samiti is a Charitable Trust and registered society formed by a group of educationists and eminent leaders of society. The name of the institute has been named after the society itself. The land where the college is built was donated by Sawai Man Singh Bahadur II.
Abbreviated as SBNMM, the college is spread over 350 acre green campus. It offers various courses in Arts and Sciences in accordance with syllabi and prescriptions of the University of Rajasthan. Shri Bhawani Niketan Mahila Post Graduate Mahavidyalaya is an institutional member of ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education). Rajasthan Technical University has allocated 50 marks in each semester for discipline and extracurricular activities. Norms have been laid out for awarding marks to the student under this head. Marks shall be decided based on the attendance, participation and performance in games and sports, covering cultural activities, literary activities, participation in departmental or useful social activities and report from warden or proctors.
The institute is located in the heart of Jaipur City, on the Jaipur- Sikar National Highway, (No. 11).
The institute is only 5 km from the Jaipur railway station and the Roadways Central Bus Stand (Sindhi Camp). There are various taxi/cab services available apart from local bus services.

Hostel - Shri Bhawani Niketan Girls Hostel is located left to the main college building. Admission is granted as per percentage basis. The hostel has a beautiful lawn, visitors lounge fine cuisine, medical facility, solar geyser, recreation facility, with common study room and even tuition facility is also provided to the residents. It also offers other basic amenities and several in house activities round the year.
Library - SBNMM library has a collection of 10,114 volumes, 110 titles and 1920 reference books. It also subscribes to various international and national journals, newspapers and magazines. The library is also facilitated with DELNET. It also offers Book-Bank facility.
Bank - An extension branch of Indian Overseas is located within the college premises. Apart from other banking services it also has an ATM.
Computer Laboratory – The College provides a well equipped computer and statistics laboratory for students to carry out their innovative and scientific experiments.
Other Laboratories – Practical knowledge is facilitated with various laboratories belonging to departments of Home Science, Geography, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Canteen - Canteen at SBNMM offers food at affordable prices to students.
Medical Facility - Basic first aid facility is available to the students.
NSS - In SBNMM there are 2 units which comprises of 100 volunteers in each unit which works for the social welfare of the local people.
NCC - It is engaged in grooming the students into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The cadets are given basic Military training in small arms and parades.

Gym - The College has a well equipped gym to cater to the health and fitness needs of students.
Sports - Sports and Physical education department works towards the health fitness and well being of the entire SBNMM Community. The college has facilities for Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Volley ball, Hand ball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Foot ball etc. Since 1988, SBNMM is organizing inter-collegiate tournament. Each year nearly 20 girls participate in National level in different games.
Awards – Various types of awards are given to outstanding students. Prizes are given to students obtaining more than 70% Marks and scholarship is offered to economical backward students.
Alumni Association – The association is composed of graduates or former students. The yearly fee for joining is Rs. 20 and lifelong membership fee is Rs. 50 as of 2013.
Counselling Cell - SBNMM offers counselling to all students in an attempt to help the individual cope with the demands of a complex society and ease the transition between school and college and into a career oriented environment.
Training and Placement Cell – The College runs an effective Training and Placement cell. This cell arranges practical/industrial training for the students as a part of their curriculum.
