Introduction

Today, the apparel fashion industry is one of the largest industries in India. The fast-paced apparel industry is always in need of talented fashion and apparel designers. The Degree Program in Fashion and Apparel Designing B.Sc – (FAD) provides a strong foundation in art, design, and technical studies while helping students develop a perspective on both the creative and business aspects of the flourishing industry. It successfully incorporates innovative ideas in the field of textile and Fashion Designing, Marketing, Production, retail Management and Promotions, gaining knowledge in fabric styling, apparel designing to refining design skills. After the completion of the course, the students can choose from the varied employment opportunities in the industry such as - Assistant designer, Assistant Technical designer, Production Assistant, Fabric Specialist, Trend Manager and Assistant Manager of Quality Assurance.
