Introduction

Vogue offers a comprehensive course in Garment manufacturing technology. It is a three year graduate program which focuses on the technological functions, the industrial engineering and ergonomic techniques of the apparel industry thereby, emphasizing on its production, planning, control and management practices. This course helps them to understand industrial engineering and ergonomic techniques. The particular course places an emphasis on production, planning, control and management practices. The regular interaction with the industry and visits to the leading manufacturing units renders an enriching learning experience for the students.

The faculty trains students to anticipate and address the concerns and issues of the emerging manufacturing principles. The basic objective of this program is to enhance the student’s perception of the commercial environment understanding of manufacturing technology, marketing and management principles.

The core topics like pattern making, basic garment construction, garment production machinery & equipment, textile science, basic applied science, dyeing and printing, introduction to knitting, fabric and garment finishing, computer science and information technology, apparel production and control, costing of apparel products are undertaken in this course under the expert guidance of our trained faculty.
