The Vidya Institute of Creative Teaching - VICT was established in the year 2005 with a personal impulse behind its establishment. The dream was to create busters in world class environment by laying foundation of an exceptionally talented, diverse & elitist human resource - UNPRETENTIOUS BUT ROBUST.

The main philosophy was to foster an environment that encourages students to generate opportunities, nurtures them & inculcate culture of solving critical problems & making students self sustaining. This vision was started by giving an extra edge to students through a strong theoretical concept & knowledge of practical world.

Architecture

The sprawling VKP campus caters for any futuristic extension. The buildings are reminiscent of old Havelis having rooms in quadrangle and open space in the center as per the guidelines of Vastu Shastra, to ensure proper lighting and air ventilation with effective energy conservation. These are open on all sides to facilitate entrance from all directions depicting that theses temples of knowledge are open to all irrespective of any caste, creed or colour.

The buildings have wide corridors and courtyards providing excellent space for activities and movement. The open quadrangle surrounded by classrooms can act as a large open air stage acting as three story balconies for spectators.

Seminar Halls

All the seminar halls are air conditioned and are equipped with Audio Video systems. The seminar halls are regularly used for class interaction meetings, national and international conferences, teacher and student training programmes.

Banks and ATM

Vidya Knowledge Park has been facilitated with two nationalized banks Punjab National Bank, Allahabad Bank and PNB’s ATM at the very entrance of the institution, which gives all the convenience of banking to students.

Amphitheater

Based on the Greek architectural Concept Island is built to a semi curricular plan to enhance vibrant acoustic performance with tiered seating, tiers that surrounds that central performance.  It has curved shape standing structure behind the stage creating an area which echoes amplifies sound making it ideal for musical or theatrical performances. The facility is an open air venue used for entertainment and performances. The performance area has been the venue for many cultural events and competitions organized at VKP.

International Sports Academy

Vidya International Sports Academy, VISA is a fully equipped state-of-the-art games training facility for the students.

Eco Friendly Campus

In keeping with its basics colors and logo VKP ha serious concern for the preservation, restoration, conservation of natural resources, prevention of pollution and land use.  Some of the actions that have been taken by VKP towards achievement of this mission are:-

Afforestation

We are committed to preserve the local flora and fauna by planting over 35,000 fruit bearing, medicinal, ornamental, gymnosperm, mosses, pteridophytes, lichens, cottons etc. plants. They not only add beauty to the campus but help in soil conservation and pollution control.

No Smoke Generators

VKP has installed smokeless and noiseless generators to provide 24 hours electricity backup to run essential services without any interruptions.

Sewage Treatment Plant

VKP has STP water treatment plant for treatment of water from residential areas and messes. The water is used for gardening and the solid slug residue is utilized as manure to maintain grass and trees.

Rain Water harvesting

The buildings are constructed so as to control the flow of rain water. Rain water harvesting plants help in conserving natural resources and help in maintaining the water table.

Solar Heaters

To make use of non conventional source of energy Solar Water Heaters have been installed in residential areas and messes to provide hot water for bathing, washing and cleaning purposes and help in conserving electricity.

Disposal of Waste

In VKP campus we follow dustbin culture. The waste is segregated into biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste and disposed off in appropriate manners.

Green Force Club

VKP has a club to spread awareness towards preservation of ecosystem. It organizes seminars , meetings and rallies to spread the message of “Green Earth” and “Green Environment”

Academic Facilities

Smart Classrooms

VICT focuses on emerging technologies in teaching and learning practices to improve students understanding and learning aptitude. Teaching through smart classrooms is one of our comprehensive strategies to achieve this goal. Our smart classroom is a mixture of state-of-the-art hardware, syllabus-compliant and multimedia-based interactive content. The exceptional advantage of smart classroom makes day to day classroom sessions more interactive, interesting and allows students to learn different fields of studies in a structured, easy-to-understand and syllabus-compliant manner.

Computer Centers

VKP recognizes the key role that IT plays in teaching as well as in research. Therefore, IT is committed to provide computing facilities of the highest standard. Wi-Fi allows all students to access a range of services across our entire campus including all computer labs and student hostels.

Language Lab

The Language Laboratory is an all-digital computer lab. The design of the lab centers on the changing modes of student learning, and remains up-to-date with format of materials available for foreign language study, as well as advancements in digital technology. The new lab accommodates individual and group study with delivery of audio and visual materials in digital format. The workspace is primarily reserved for students who wish to perfect their foreign language pronunciation, listen to passages in the original version, complete their language workbook exercises or write papers in any of the languages taught at Vidya Knowledge Park. Internet resources with educational content coexist with the more traditional media such as films, audio files and instructional CDs. The extensive foreign language video collection has been replaced with DVDs in Vidya Knowledge Park Library.

Foreign language pedagogy has embraced technological developments that facilitate access to language exchange and authentic cultural matter, and the language lab is an ideal place for making connections to various types of materials that are useful for language study. At the lab, spontaneous as well as directed communication with other cultures is made possible in all the foreign languages taught at Vidya Knowledge Park.

IT Center

• Information Technology Center at VKP provides easily accessible and excellent computational facilities to the faculty and students with high end computers catering to their academic, research and recreational requirements.
• Vidya Knowledge Park has excellent internet connectivity. Reputed service providers like Airtel (10Mpbs), Tata (15 Mbps) provide their services for Internet requirements to the VKP community. Over 10 indoor & 40 outdoor AP’s are installed to provide the connectivity along with 70 IP cameras & 5 speed dome cameras to monitor the various buildings including different schools of VKP, hostels and staff quarters.
• All computers are part of Domain Controller with support of additional domain controllers.
• Cyber Roam 1000 I (Fire Wall) is installed for ISP load balancing, fail over and Malware/ Spyware detection at the gateway level.
• Windows Server update services are installed for Patch Management in the entire campus.
• Quick heal Antivirus server provides security for entire network.
• At VKP attendance of the various stakeholders is captured in a completely automated and efficient manner through Biometric Attendance System.
• Central IT Helpdesk for IT support provides academic information about the campus.
• VKP has a well-established and sound computer based Intra-Vidya System.

Campus Facilities

Dining Halls 

We at Vidya Knowledge Park keep a close tab on the health of our talented students. Therefore, we have set up a total hygiene and healthy food provider mess where students and their faculty can get quality food at subsidized charges. The mess can offer service up to 250 boys at a time in the Amaltas Mess and up to 150 girls in the Eucalyptus Mess. Both are equipped in terms of quality manpower and resources to provide variety of vegetarian meals and snacks and are under the direct supervision of the Mess Committee comprising of faculty and student representatives. Besides, proper meals arrangements, students can watch television to catch the day’s happening on news channels or watch some informative programs for updating their general knowledge and understanding of this world.

Cafeteria

Healthy food leads to healthy mind. VKP is committed to ensure that the students are provided with healthy and hygienic food. There are 3 cafeterias in different blocks of the campus. The cafeterias and other eateries are functioning based on the cash payment basis. The cafeterias are aptly named after local trees and shrubs in consonance to our commitment towards green environment.

Café de Palm, Gulmohar and Red chilies have a constant check for food safety to ensure safe and quality food at affordable prices.

Healthcare

VKP has a qualified, skillful and experienced Resident Doctor in the campus to look after the health of students, faculty and staff living inside campus. The Doctor also advises the management on health matters.

We have ambulances to convey patients to hospital 24×7. We have also tied up with leading hospitals to accept our patients.

Gymnasium

A healthy mind resides in a healthy body

A well equipped gym in the Vidya International Sports Academy having latest equipments and machines has ensured better fitness and health facilities for the students, faculty and staff members of VKP. Instructors and trainers are available throughout the day to train the gym enthusiasts. The membership to the gymnasium can be availed by all members of VKP by payment of a very nominal fee.

Vidya Knowledge Park, a group of Jain Minority institutions, managed by Vidya Bal Mandli Society was established in the year 2006, at Meerut symbolizes a very well conceived dream of transforming education in the belt of Western UP and Delhi-NCR. VKP is an integrated educational institutional hub blending with intent of matching the dynamic paradigms of the education fraternity globally. Vidya Knowledge Park asserts its identity through its notion stated as Learn, Serve and Lead. Our endeavor at Vidya Institute of Creative Teaching is to provide a platform of quality education and inculcate values and sense of responsibility towards self and society in a conducive environment of Vidya Knowledge Park.
