Course Overview:-

B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering is four Year full time graduate degree program, comprising two semesters each year, approved by AICTE and affiliated to U.P. Technical University, Lucknow. The department of Computer Science & Engineering. is committed to providing high quality education. The Department is committed to comply with the requirements for continually improve the effectiveness of the quality management systems .The overall personality of the students is taken care keeping in mind the following aspect:

• To provide a sound academic and technical infrastructure augmented with extra curricular facilities to ensure the all round development of the students.
• To mould the technical mindset of the students according to the dynamic technological innovations.
• To produce professionally qualified engineers who stand at the cutting edge of the technology and provide an impetus to the global economy.

The Computer Science Dept. is a self-driven proactive nerve center, which caters to the ever-growing technology in the sphere of academic, research and training needs of computing concepts, tools and techniques in the profession of computer science and infotech. The department can boast of sufficiently large IT infrastructure with many more ambitious project in the pipeline in the years to come.

Computer Science Engineering Department is thronged by the budding technocrats whose interest lie in exploring, enhancing and steering the application of computer science in the world of engineering. The students are put on the anvil and shaped to take up global professional challenges.

As per the specifications of the U.P.Technical University some of the core topics taught are: Data Structures, Computer Organization and Architecture, Operating System, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Modelling & Simulation Compiler Design, Computer Graphics, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Computer Networks etc.

Besides this the students are also exposed to various software development tools of areas of database designing and web technologies.

Admission Procedure:-

Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admission

Qualified candidate of UPTU-SEE-2008 / AIEEE & having qualifications to appear in UPTU-SEE and / or 60% in total (55% for SC/ST) of aggregate in compulsory & optional subject and min. 40% (35% for SC/ST) in each compulsory and optional subjects.

Tech students of this Department go through number of Theory subjects like Computer & Language, Computer Organization, Operating Multimedia systems, Object Oriented Programming Paradigm, Software engineering, Industrial Economics, Organizational Behavior, Data Structures, Distributed systems, Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, Mobile Computing, Virtual Reality etc.

All the above labs are equipped with Pc two powerful serves networked in two different environments like Linux, Windows. Students also get access to the cyber world of information through Internet to keep pace with the latest developments in their respective fields. The college is also in the process to acquire its on ISDN line so that this facility can be further extended.

All the labs are equipped with the latest Software’s. The students are developing their skills using ORACLE, VC ++, VB++, VJ++ & internet tools apart from traditional packages like C/C++, FORTRAN, DOS, MS-OFFICE, AUTOCAD etc.
