Course Overview:-

B.Tech in Electronics And Communication Engineering is four Year full time graduate degree program, comprising two semesters each year, approved by AICTE and affiliated to U.P. Technical University, Lucknow. It deals with analog and digital transmission and reception of data, voice and video ,basic electronics, solid state devices, microprocessor analog and digital communication, analog integrated circuits, satellite communication, microwave engineering , and antenna and wave propagation.

There is a huge demand for trained professionals in the field electronics and communication. Electronic devices have flooded the domestic and global markets and have captured the life of the modern day man. Customers desire integrated services at affordable price. Naturally therefore the rate of growth in the world of electronics devices underlines the need for a large chunk of able professional in the field of electronics and communication engineering.

The objective of the Department is to prepare students with a good foundation so that they become graduate and effective system engineers.

Admission Procedure:-

Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admission

Qualified candidate of UPTU-SEE/ AIEEE & having qualifications to appear in UPTU-SEE and / or 60% in total (55% for SC/ST) of aggregate in compulsory & optional subject and min. 40% (35% for SC/ST) in each compulsory and optional subjects.

Physics & Mathematics (At Intermediate Level)

Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology (At Intermediate Level)

Domicile Requirements : Candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located in the State of Uttar Pradesh and who do not claim for any reserved category are eligible for admission to all the courses at all the institutions against available General (OPEN) seats (No certificate required). Candidates from reservation category are required to submit Domecile Certificate.

* Candidates who have have passed the qualifying examination from an institute located outside U.P. please discuss before allowing admission.

Electronics & Communication Department provides graduate level course in the two crucial fields that significantly affect the way we live today. The graduate program covers all the standard subjects in both disciplines.

The college has a number of ultra-modern state of art labs and workshops where the young professionals learned and practice to implement theoretical knowledge into practical use. The specially designed and well equipped labs and workshops are regularly upgraded as per the requirements of the syllabus and as per the global demand of fast changing technological know - how's. The labs and workshop provide ample opportunity to the students to understand, unfold and unravel technology for the cause of humanity.

The department is equipped with various labs equipped with advanced technologies and latest equipments in Optical Fiber communication Lab, Microware Lab, Analog & Digital Communication Lab, CAD Lab with VHDL & p-Spice Softwares, Control Lab with MATLAB Software, Microprocessor & Micro controller Lab, Measurement & Instrumentation Lab, Transducers Lab, Telemetry Lab, Analog & Digital Integrated Circuits Lab, Electronics Workshop & PCB Lab etc as per the UP Technical University Syllabus. Most of the latest software & Design tools are available in various labs to provide computer aided guidance to students.
