Bhabha Institute of Technology (BIT) is a private engineering institute established and managed by Bhabha Group of Institutions. Mr. Mahesh Singh Chauhan, a well known educationist founded the group in 1993. It was his endeavour to provide educational & career related services to all sections of society. Also, a venture of Mahesh Chauhan Group, the institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University (GBTU) having GBTU Code 254. BIT is ISO 9001:2008 (QMS) Certified Institute and serves to meet the ever growing demand for trained professional manpower for industries. The campus is located in a sprawling campus of 200 acres in the institutional area of Kanpur Dehat. BGI, offers B.Tech. Degree courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering. It also offers Business Administration (MBA).

Facilities
Hostel - The institute hostel in the campus can accommodate1000 boys and 1000 Girls. Each room is equipped with table chair, book self and other amenities. There is also a common room where the students can relax, watch television, read newspapers, magazines etc. Indoor and outdoor sports facilities are also available for the students. The cooperative mess is run by the students in the hostel at no profit and no loss basis. Pure drinking water is supplied in each hostel through R.O. System. Both water and power supplies are available round the clock. Adequate number of bathrooms has been fitted with geysers.
Medical Facilities - Full-time Medical Residents including female and visiting specialists conduct routine medical check-up and provide medical aid whenever needed.
Library – BIT library has good collection of books along with other resources.
Transport Facility - Bhabha Institute of Technology provides bus service to and from Bhabha Group of Institutions for the Transport of the Students and Staff members. This is a paid service and the bus fare is collected on the basis of their boarding point.
Laboratories – There are a number of laboratories for various disciplines like - Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering. These cater to design, production, and operation of machines and tools.
Computer Facilities – The institute has a centralized computer laboratory.

ATM Facility - An in-house computerized Punjab National Bank is functioning from the Campus. It provides round the clock ATM facility in the campus. On enrolment, every student can open an account with bank and can make full use of banking services, Internet Banking and A.T.M. facilities.
Classrooms - BIT houses 60 Lecture Halls which are spacious, properly ventilated and well sunlit with all latest and advanced teaching aids like multimedia, LCD projectors, microphones etc. Each hall has been provided with networking facility and the step level seating arrangement enables clear view.
Gymnasium – The gym has many modern equipments and is open for boys and girls at separate times during mornings and evenings. Some of the equipments are Jogger , Vertical Leg Press, Standing Leg Squat, Pumping Cycle and Pulling Twister
Sports Facility – The campus is equipped with an Olympic size running track, football field, cricket field, basket ball & tennis courts, table tennis tables etc.
Swimming Pool – Aquatic sports is facilitated through the swimming pool. Trained swimming instructors coach students.
Cafeteria - BGI has its own cafeteria serving hygienic snacks and lunch at very reasonable prices.
Conference Room - BIT as a well equipped Seminar/Conference room with all ultra modern audio/video systems.
Co curricular Activities – The institute organises it annual festival – Anukrti to foster recreational activities. Other celebrations observed include Fresher Eve, Teachers Day and Farewell Party
Communication – Students can make STD/ISD calls from a separate PCO in the campus.
Training and Placement – The placement cell of the institute is assisted by Placement Coordinators who lead a team of placement representatives from various courses of study. The Training & Placement Cell organises campus placements, mock interviews, group discussions etc.
