College of Design & Technology has been started with a view of promoting Arts and technology in Central India. The College hopes to nurture new art forms blending them with innovative technologies in the interactive environment of the college. The divergent structure of our programs continuously addresses the shifting nature of Arts and technology.

We are sure you are aware of the career streams that are emerging beyond conventional. Undoubtedly nation needs Scientists to invent, Engineers to make, Economists to define economy, Managers to manage, Accountants to keep books and Marketers to sell but it also needs Designers to create things.

The examples are all around us in form of usefully designed Dresses & accessories; Buildings, hotels & homes; Books, magazines, catalogues & websites; Gazettes, gizmos and equipments, etc. To be liked by us, they all had to go through a rigorous design process in the hands of qualified, experienced and talented designers.

The origin of CODT is credited to the fact that design in India is still a talent starved area where only a handful institutes/Colleges struggle to meet one tenth of national demand. This is the gap that CODT aims to reduce by grooming good designers in selected fields. It is at Indore- one of the fastest growing tier II cities in India and business capital of MP. Only one to host IIM and IIT together, Indore is well connected with air, road and rail with rest of the country.

CODT has commenced its journey in 2013 and in time to come, will be unparalleled across country. FASHION DESIGN

Processional Designers qualify for challenging position in growing fashion industry in both domestic and export market.

Our program at CODT, in Fashion Technology would open up avenues for students aspiring in short term courses as well as UG/PG degree programs

GRAPHIC DESIGN

Graphic design is a creative process that combines art and technology to communicate ideas. The designer works with a variety of communication tools in order to convey a message from a client to a particular audience. The main tools are image and typography.

We would open up avenues for student aspiring in short term courses as well as UG/PG degree programs.

INTERIOR DESIGN

Interior Designing is a profession concerned with designing a given space which would be artistic and aesthetically appealing. The objective of the course is to make students familiar with the meaning and purpose of design and train them in visual composition using two dimensional and three dimensional objects.

The focuses of our program are Residential Design, Commercial Design, and Exhibition Design etc.

SHORT TERMS COURSES

1 or 2 Year Diploma program in Fashion/Interior/Graphic Design

ADMISSIONS OVERVIEW

Please follow the simple procedure for an easy, friendly and convenient admission @ COD, Here's your guide on how to do it:

Download the Admission form from Website www.collegeofdesign.in or Call us for an Admission form at 0731, 4001200. Fill the form and with a DD for Rs. 300/- in favor of VAJDI ASSOCIATES payable at Indore.

Send all above in a sealed envelope to COD Office at 10-11 YN Road, Opposite GSITS College Sq. Indore-1Once we receive your filled form along with the demand draft, COD office will call you for a written test / Studio test @ COD Premise. (15 Days Notice will be given)Working with our admission counselor is the quickest way to get on the way to a great future. We encourage you to contact us as early as possible as we have limited seats.

You can reach an admission counselor at 0731- 4001200 to help with the application process or to answer any questions along the way. All Students taking admission at CODT will have to submit the mark sheets of the last emanation passed.(In case of UG X11th or equivalent pass mark sheet and in case of PG Graduation Pass mark sheet (Any Stream).In case results are awaited the admission will be provisional only. SELECTION CRITERIA:

Students scoring 55% and above in the above mention test will be declared "PASS". Selection will be truly based on order of Merit. Student scoring above 75% in admission test will be eligible for a one time fees rebate at COD *.Students aspiring for Admissions at COD and scoring above 75 % in XII Std will be eligible for Additional Fees Rebate* benefits. Placements Deserving students who have continuously performed above 75% in the UG/PG programs will be eligible for Placements and internship.* Terms & Conditions as per rules & regulations of COD.
