About Sugar Technologist's Association of India - STAI
The Sugar Technologist’s Association of India (STAI) is an apex body of sugar industry institutions and professional’s perusing the cause of growth and development of sugar and allied industries since its inception in 1925. Recognized by the Government of India as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization it is continuously striving to bring out cost effective and innovative technologies in sugar, power, alcohol and sugarcane farming to enhance productivity, quality and competitiveness.
The Sugar Technologists' Association of India is initiating "One Year Executive Development Programme (EDP) in Sugar & Allied Industry Management" from September 09, 2013 at its New Delhi premises. The EDP will be run by top notch academicians, consultants and industry professionals. Trainees will also be exposed to in-plant working besides exposure to international markets. This will ensure better job prospects for anyone undergoing the training.
