Global Institute of Intellectual Property - GIIP was launched in 2007 with Vision to build capacity and harness technical, legal and management skills in area of Intellectual Property Rights, to serve the growing need of the global, knowledge-based, innovation-driven economy. The Global Institute of Intellectual Property (GIIP) is an Institution for Post Graduate Education and Training. GIIP offers training programs of international standards with emphasis on practical, business and legal aspects of US, European & Indian IP and patents process. GIIP’s curriculum has been designed by Academicians, IP Attorneys, Patent Agents, Practitioners from the US, Europe and India. The opportunity to combine classroom training with real-world experience is one of the most valuable components of GIIP's Programs. The curriculum includes traditional IP courses such as Patent, Copyright & Trade Secret Law and advanced IP courses relevant to Pharmaceutical, IT, Mechanical, Chemical and Biotechnology Patent Practices.

Ever since inception, Intellectual Property (IP) training has been GIIP’s focus and forte. GIIP launched its very first IP certification program with Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi.
