2D Animation is one of the most impactful forms of communication, whether you are connecting with children or adults. You could be narrating a story, conveying a social message, educating or just entertaining ' its effect is quintessential. Animation is today widely used in the field of education, science, technology, medicine and e-learning courses etc. This 18-month course is designed by industry experienced professionals with an aim to create industry-ready professionals who would light up the animation screen, pursue their own creative thinking and be a part of this fast-paced and exciting industry. The course lays a strong foundation in art, idea development, script writing, character design, storyboarding, expression, motion graphics, animation through traditional 2D drawings, etc. The course curriculum follows the industry work flow that prepares the students through the process of Ideation-Script-Screen aimed to prepare students to match the demands and skills needed in this space. The course starts with Maya Foundation. Maya fundamentals give students an overall understanding of Maya workflow. Assignments are given to make students familiar with Maya's user interface and basic tools. Asset Development - Organic and inorganic modeling ' nubs, poly and subdivision modeling, shading, texturing, blend shapes, rigging - character and bones setup, inverse kinematics. Maya Animation ' Staging, blocking process. It makes students familiar with Maya's powerful animation tools, develops an understanding of timing, acting for animation, key framing techniques, simple character animation, animation processes and production workflow. Maya Lighting and Paint Effects' Tap into Maya's powerful shading network, lighting concepts, interactive photorealistic rendering, mental ray, paint effects and particles. Maya Unlimited ' Cloth, fur, hair and shave. Students get introduced to the effective usage of unlimited techniques in projects. This course makes students comfortable with the Maya production workflow of modeling, shading, texturing, rigging, animation, lighting, FX, cloth and fur.

Description Shading, Lighting and Rendering are the essential steps to stage your 3d-scenes and objects. The aim of the course is to train participants in the professional use of shaders and lightsources in Cinema4D R15 and to lead them from the analysis of natural lighting conditions to their implementation in 3d-scenes.
