Vismayam  -The College for International Studies , the first and foremost design training institute in Kerala, is now upgraded as an international study centre. VIsmayam is one of the certified training partners of IPD-OUM (Professional Development-Open University Malaysia), offering diploma programs in multimedia and Interior design to the students of 10th grade and growing professionals. 1000 + students successfully completed their graduation in Interior design and Multimedia communication by choosing VCAM as the training partner under university of Calicut. VIsmayam is the best platform for students those who are looking for a career in interior design or Media Communication, in India and abroad. Apart from the academic activities each department coordinates technical events every year to enhance the responsiveness among students about their relevant field.

The college pays tribute to all festivals in the region either by observing a holiday or by celebrating them with traditional fanfare. These functions play a major role in bringing harmony and the sense of camaraderie among the students and their families. Thiruvonam, Christmas and Eid-Ul- Fittar are celebrated with zest and spirit accompanied by a feast, that all inmates of the college and their families partake in.

The student and faculty bodies have collaborated to form functional clubs within the college. They provide mentoring; organize academic and social activities besides extending support to both media and design students towards meeting their unique needs. A continuing education cell is working in the college to provide the special learning needs of students who has completed the university course and is desires of specializing in a particular subject.
