Media finishing school programme refers to institutes that focus on enhancing the capabilities of individuals that enroll into the programme. How Does The Media Finishing School Programme Work ?

This course is created for those students who are enrolled in other institutes but still wish to gain extra knowledge and guidance in order to perfect their skills. Enrolling with us, will enable the student to avail a host of refresher classes that will cover all related fields. Students are trained / groomed and guided in the related field through hands-on experience and field visits / live training for a minimum of two months. Media Finishing School Programme Will Contain the Following:

Hands on Training

We have experienced personalities from the industry as guest lecturers / experienced staff members and trainers as well as student guides along with highly qualified and experienced media industry experts of Gyan Vitaranam Media Pvt. Ltd., its ventures to mentor and guide our students suitably.

• Refresher classes - this will be theory based (10 hours).
• Practical classes / Hands-on training at Gyan Vitaranam Media Pvt. Ltd., and its ventures (20 hours).
• Guidance and counseling for specialization; this is done after assessing the interests of the student.
• Group experiences. This comprises complete media establishment exercise and mock drills. For example, students may virtually run a magazine or similar media firm. Team members will enact the roll of an editor and other hierarchial positions in a media establishment.
• Industry visits providing real time experience of how various media houses function.
• Marketing and Circulation experience.
• Media finishing school programme has different packages that a student can choose from according to their needs.

Field Visits / Live Training

• Students to undergo field visits / live training at Gyan Vitaranam Media Pvt. Ltd., or its ventures.
• GV will tie-up with other institutions to provide internship (no placement guarantee) and Certificates will be distributed through Gyan Vitaranam Media Finishing School.

Evaluation and Certificates

• Examination on the 10th day ( theory ), objective type.
• Examination on the 20th day (practical).
• Certificates shall be distributed after the evaluation process.
• Each batch shall consist of 20 students.

Terms and Conditions

• No placement guarantee in Media Finishing School Programme.
• Certificates will be released only after remitting the fees in full.
• All creative products will be copyright to Gyan Vitaranam Media Pvt. Ltd. or its ventures. (A student can do these courses parallel to their regular courses or after completion of the courses).
