Chanakya Community College of Art and Architecture

Raised in 1993, Chanakya Academy has come a long way; Chanakya decided to focus on skill based vocational and professional undergraduate level programs linked with job opportunities. A professionally managed educational society, Chanakya is headed by Dr Wg Cdr Subhash Sindhwani, PhD in Human Resources Management and Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from India’s premier institute NITIE with 40 years of extensive experience as a trainer, consultant and entrepreneur. Chanakya, an innovator, is interested in changing the landscape of higher education making it vocational, practical, skill oriented and job linked.

Education and Training

Chanakya focuses on three main streams of education:

Design Education​: It is the only college of its kind in India offering 5 years degree in architecture approved by COA affiliated to CSVTU, Interior Design education with construction management and Fashion Design affiliated to Pandit Ravi Shankar University. Efforts are in

Vocational Education​:-

One of the eight NTIs approved by AICTE, Chanakya offers vocational training programs as the Training Hub Partner of Tata Institute of Social Science - the highlight of the these programs is that the students undergo one day of class room training and work as intern with some industry also known as Skill and Knowledge Provider SKP for the rest of the week.. Thus the students learn at work and are job ready by the time they graduate.

Brain Health Training

This department aims to create awareness about brain health and offers digital and one to one training solutions to students and adults from 6 years to 80 years; we also make an assessment of brain learning skills and offer programs to enhance the cognitive and social cognition. The college profiles the students for their learning skills.

Education is too serious business to be left to the Government or Educators alone; there is an urgent need for closer interaction between educational institutions and the community. Education is a joint responsibility - we welcome all who have interest in the field of vocational education to come forward and be a part of skill building. Skills are fundamental for creation of wealth and wellness of human society and we are committed to skill building to the world class levels.
