The national policy on Education formulated in 1986 and modified in 1992 aims to provide education of a comparable quality up to a given level to all students irrespective of their caste, creed residence or sex. It aims at the promotion of a national, a sense of common citizenship and composite culture and strengthening national integration. It says stress on the need for a radical transformation of the education system to improve its quality at all stages and gives much greater attention to science and technology. IFSMA is also organizing Campus interviews for various industries like Hero Moto Corp-Halol, Birla Copper-Dahej, etc.  IFSMA is also receiving Direct Phones from Private contractors for such types of Fire & Safety Manpower. 

Industrial Fire & Safety Management Academy has also organized Fire & Safety Training workshops in Leading Industries as well as basic Fire Safety Training in Schools, Colleges, Hospitals & Educational Institutes. IFSMA has successfully organized Industrial Training of Basic Fire Safety Training including HIL Limited, Rishi Fiber Limited, and many more.

We are expecting such high planning because, we have enormous facility of Fire Equipments and Fire Emergency Communication System availability as well as Safety Equipments, Fire Entry Suit, All types of Personnel Protective Equipments. Training Methodology

Industrial Fire and Safety Management Academy - IFSMA is giving the Training by latest technology with latest equipments. In the Morning from 07.00 to 08.00 P.T. Parade Drill is done.

In Theory Session, from 10.00 to 1.00, IFSMA is providing our own prepared Text-Books to the Students and giving the lectures in Classroom with all the modern amenities. IFSMA has Electronic Projector as well as overhead slide Projector to teach the Fire Safety Subject in Innovative Way. IFSMA has PowerPoint slides on different subjects. IFSMA also provides Assignment Books for Equipment Drawings. IFSMA organizes Guest Lectures given by ex-Government Officers as well as managers.

In Practical Training Session IFSMA is arranging Practical Training on the Training Ground. All the Types of Fire Drills, Rescue Operations, Fire Extinguisher Drills, Ropes & Lines Practical’s, and Identification & Use of Fire & Safety Equipments etc. is done.

Leadership & Capability in the Specific Sector/Course

India is developing as a key global player in the industrial and technology sector. Rapid industrialization has increased the hazard, risk, and vulnerability to the industry and the environment. Major Chemical (Industrial) disasters are low in frequency but are very significant in the terms of loss of lives, injuries, environmental impact, and property damage. The frequency and severity of chemical disasters has increased in the last few years due to the rapid development of chemical and petrochemical industries and an increase in the size of plants, storage, and carriers, specifically in densely populated areas. At the State level - State Disaster Management Authority, Department of Factories & Boilers, Pollution Control Board, Department of Health, Police, Fire, Industry & Commerce, etc. are directly responsible for industrial accident-related issues. There is a need to work out the better and effective institutional mechanism, coordination and strategies for ensuring synergy in the various activities of different Ministries and organizations. A strategic framework is needed especially towards capacity building and integration with holistic environmental risk management within the framework of a multi-hazard risk reduction strategy. For help the strategy and to overcome the requirement the manpower in Industrial Environment, Health & Safety area, the vocational Fire & Safety Courses are needed.

As per National Disaster Management Authority, Government of India’s report, the growth of chemical industries has led to an increase in the risk of occurrence of incidents associated with hazardous chemicals (HAZCHEM). A chemical industry that incorporates the best principles of safety can largely prevent such incidents. Common causes for chemical accidents are deficiencies in safety management systems and human errors, or they may occur as a consequence of natural calamities or sabotage activities.

As per Factory Act-1948, under section 40B, in every factory, by the State Government by notification in the Official Gazette, employ Safety Officers as may be specified in that notification. To overcome such Industrial Accident and for the Awareness of Industrial Hygiene, including Industrial Health, Safety and Environment and to fulfill the requirements of Safety Officers.
