Legacy'EXIN' (currently, Exterior Interior Ltd - formerly, Exterior-Interiors) came into existence in the year 1986 as a joint venture with the renowned multinational paint company, Jenson & Nicholson Ltd. with the underlying need for professional education in Interior and Exterior designing. Incorporated in 1922, Jenson & Nicholson Ltd. is India’s second oldest paint manufacturing company, whose roots can be traced back to a business, established in 1821 in London, which eventually became a partnership between John Jenson and Wilfred Nicholson.

At a time, when professional courses such as Interior Designing were still new, EXIN served as a pioneer by becoming one of the first of its kind in the country to offer professional courses in the design arena, and in the process, it has played a prominent role in popularizing the course.

Being one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the country, EXIN has carved a niche for itself in the arena of skill enhancement based vocational education and training especially in Interior Designing, and such has been the impact of EXIN that, today, multiple institutions around the country have been modeled after our institution, and these institutions have followed the path, which has been paved by EXIN 31 years back. Today, the institution has been evolved into a globally renowned institution of higher learning with a focus on globalization, entrepreneurship and employability.
