The NES is registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with its registered office at the Directorate of Naval Education. The registration number being S-17639.
The primary aim of NES is promotion of education, science, culture, literature and fine arts amongst the children and families of serving and retired naval personnel.
