Saraswati Education and Medical Trust

The school was founded in 2005 by Saraswati Education & Medical Trust. Shri B.M. Patel Global English Medium School and Shri R.A. Patel Gyanjyot Gujarati Medium School are located in lush green surroundings at Vaghwala, Borsad - Vasad Road, Borsad. The KG Section was started in 2005, by over the years it has grown to accommodate children from all walks of life. Today, it has 2500 students on roll from KG to Std. 12th in English and Gujarati Medium.

The School can be characterized as a learning society dedicated to the noble cause of education. Our motto is "Offer equal opportunities to all so that they rise to their fullest potential". In keeping with this motto, the school offers all the students an opportunity to participate in each and every activity of the School. This, we believe, will promote an element of confidence, maturity and courage in students. Every child is gifted. We aim to tap their latent potential, to develop it to its fullest... thus preparing them for life. Besides academics, there is emphasis on sports (Indoor & Outdoor) and other activities like Karate, Yoga, Rifle Shooting, Dance, Bharatnatyam, Skating, Archery, Darting etc... The students are also trained in Spoken English, UCMAS, Handwriting, Elocution, Public Speaking etc. These activities are compulsory for all the students and are a part of the curriculum.

Above all the School also believes in inculcating a strong value system in every child passing through its portal. Values cannot be taught through textbooks. Hence every activity of the School leaves behind lessons on ethics and values which will remain with a child all through his life.

Facilities

Dining Hall

We are having dining hall with capacity of 2000 students accommodation. A dining hall is having a facility of automatic roti maker and other facilities. We serve hygienic food on daily basis with providing them prior food menu.

Computer Lab

Computer education is an integral part of the curriculum. Individual computer laboratory for Gujarati Medium, English Medium and Science Department with 50 computer systems in each lab. Students are trained to learn the latest software applications and programming languages. The school offers computer education from Class 1 to Class 12. Highly qualified teachers impart the knowledge of computers and fully equip the students for the challenges of the computer age.

Audio Visual Room

Many CDs comprising of nursery rhymes, storytelling aids and other titles for primary classes are available for the teachers. The faculty members also use subject based CDs in Science as well as Mathematics as an aid to their classroom teaching. Globes, geometry boxes, large sized books and flap books are also other teaching aids stocked in the library.

The audio-visual room is extensively used by the faculty and students to make presentations. To ensure long-term retention of what is taught, the school uses Power Point presentations and the Smart Board to hone student skills and encourage student-teacher interactions.

Computer Aided teaching sessions hold a special place, which give our students the winning edge in a competitive world. Students have the pleasure of learning various topics with the help of computers. A research-oriented approach is encouraged and frequent analysis of projects helps students to orient themselves with the rapidly changing requirements of the world outside.

Class Room

Each classroom houses has a large area and is designed such that every student gets the teacher's maximum individual attention.

There are over 100 classrooms for regular teaching alone and a number of other rooms like the Audio-Visual rooms and Resource rooms to facilitate better learning.

Well-ventilated with huge windows, they offer the right atmosphere for learning. The white boards and bulletin boards placed at vantage points, make learning easier and interesting.

The strength of each class is kept at a manageable level and comfortable furniture adds to the ambience of the classroom.

Auditorium

The spacious auditorium which has a seating capacity of about 500 is equipped with the best acoustics and light systems. The auditorium helps students to conduct quizzes, debates and concerts.

Science Lab

The Science Lab provides an atmosphere of experiencing and learning science. It is an ultramodern Science lab, which can accommodate more than 70 students at a time. The Science lab also provides an open environment for students to experiment and do research work. Under the professional guidance and assistance given by our science teachers, students are also encouraged to exhibit their innovative powers by developing samples and models.

Saraswati Shishukunj Providing Safe and Secured Transportation Facility to all 2400+ Students at their Door step. We have 55+ Vehicles (Bus, Van, Ecco, Maximo) and 75+ Transportation Team Member to Cover more than 100 Villages. Our Dedicated Transportation Team Giving Smooth Service to each of our valued Students and helps the Parents to save their Pickup & Drop time. Our Students are really enjoying their Trip from Home to School.
