DU exams appearing to become disabled-friendly

New Delhi: Delhi University's latest guidelines for disabled students will provide assistance to students with different disabilities.

Students with low vision will be provided a writer and extra time, if the impairment is a hindrance to writing the exam as per the new rule. Similarly, for students with 100% visual disability, a writer will be provided along with extra time.

A question paper with enlarged print will also be provided, along with this. Facilities will also be provided to students with cerebral palsy, hearing or speech impairment, orthopedic disabilities, and short-term disabilities due to any injury.

The varsity however, has laid down strict guidelines for the writer that will be assigned to the students to minimize the misuse of the opportunities
