Uniform Maths and Science content for 10th and 10+2 class throughout India

From the 2011 academic session, students of 10 and 10+2 classes will study a uniform Maths and Science curriculum throughout India, irrespective of the State  or board the schools are associated with. This idea is mooted by the Government keeping in mind the idea of having single Engineering and Medical exam in the session 2013.The HRD ministry believe that would lessen the burden on students  who have to pepare for different exams, which adds to unnecessary stress on them. Human Resourse Development minister explained that a task force will ascertain the basis of conducting the single test along with the weightage given to the marks obtained in class 10+2 in obtain admission in various engineeringa and Medical collages of the country.
