Banaras Hindu University will have a campus in Maharashtra by 2014. Maharashtra government had announced to provide 200 acres of land to the university to set up its campus in Amravati district.
The campus will basically have an agriculture college. Formal procedures in this regard are yet to be made.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is gearing up to create its own visual identity. According to chairman, Press Publication and Publicity Cell, BHU, Prof Rajesh Singh, university's name will soon be written in a definite font, colour and style of writing and will be used uniformly by all the faculties and institutions of the university.
It means all the boards, notice boards, letterheads, visiting cards, applications forms and objects will be bearing university's name in a similar fashion.
