Anand Kumar released the list of all 30 students with roll number in which 28 had cleared the JEE advanced.
Talking to TOI he said, like previous years, he had released the list to maintain utmost transparency in what he has been doing for 11 years without any financial assistance from any outside agency.
Last year, 27 of the 30 students were selected for IITs and Super-30 has contributed over 260 students to the premier engineering institute of the country so far.
Super 30 came into being to help meritorious students from underprivileged section, who find it difficult to continue their studies due to acute financial constraints. All the 30 students in Super 30 are imparted free education with residential facilities for a year. In the last 11 years, several students from poor families have successfully completed their journey to IIT.
In the list of the 30 students the number of general category students is 12 while OBC students is 17 and only one SC students.
