Ministry to offer Scholarships for disable students, pursuing professional courses in 2013-14

A 2000 scholarship will be awarded by the government under two different schemes to students with disabilities who will pursue professional courses in the academic year 2013-14.

According to the statement of the Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry, the scholarship will be given under two schemes:

• Trust Fund Scholarship Scheme that offers 1,500 scholarships and
• National Fund scheme that offer 500 scholarships.

Disabled students applying for professional courses at the graduate and post graduate levels in 2013-14 can avail benefit of The scholarships under the Trust Fund Scheme. However, 500 scholarships under the National Fund scheme will be awarded to the disabled students who are willing to pursue professional, higher academic and technical course such as M.Phill, Ph.D, etc.
