1.7 lakh took Gujarat TET

Around 1.70 lakh aspirants appeared for the Teachers Eligibility Test at various centers across Gujarat on Sunday.

This was the third TET conducted in the state after the test was introduced in Gujarat in 2011. The successful candidates of TET 2011 are still waiting for job in primary schools. The exam conducted in 2012, and this year was for teachers of standard VI to VIII.
