Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) has decided to continue with JEE Advanced on 2013 patterns. Thus JEE-Advanced will continue to be a paper-pencil test in 2014.
Members of the JAB, the highest body that takes decisions on admissions to IITs, said that the JEE-Advanced 2014 will be conducted keeping up with the pattern of 2013. However, the board will soon set up an ad-hoc committee to study and design the computer-based exam process in order to implement it in future.
JEE-Advanced 2014 is scheduled to be held tentatively on 25 May, a week earlier as compared to last year. According to sources, the JEE-Main may be conducted on 06 April 2014, but CBSE will announce the confirm date soon.
