About 88% attendance at Allahabad University's CRET 2013

CRET- 2013, conducted by Allahabad University, passed off peacefully with a total of 88% of around 3500 examinees appearing in the first meeting and 85.3% examinees in the second meeting

CRET is mandatory for students who want to pursue PhD from the University. The examination is conducted in two levels but some students can be exempted from appearing in these level exams.

CRET-2013 was held at BHS, Bishop Johnson School and at Delhi center. The varsity authorities had constituted two teams of the observers to visit the exam centers comprising deans and senior faculty members of AU. Remarkably, the authorities have cancelled the two out-stationed centers, namely Kolkata and Bengaluru, which recorded poor attendance of the candidates last year.
