NMIMS Amalgamate Two of its MBA Programmes

India’s Premiere Business School, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) located in Mumbai has taken a decision to merge two of its focused-MBA programmes i.e. MBA (Banking) and MBA (Capital Markets) with its flagship MBA Programme.

The intention behind combining of the management programmes is to meet the changing recruitment scenario especially the Banking and BFSI sector, where candidates are preferred on the basis of their having flagship MBA programme degree. Besides, also noticing the aspirant’s strong inclination towards flagship MBA programme as compared to other focused programmes, told Vice-Chancellor of NMIMS Dr Rajan Saxena.

After the MBA Banking and Capital Market programme will be merged, the admission seats in the NMIMS - MBA programme will rise to 500. Furthermore, the students will also be allowed to enroll himself in 'Corporate Finance', 'Banking and Risk Management', and 'Capital Market and Investment Banking '.

The flagship MBA programme contains electives across specializations such as marketing, finance, operations, strategy, IT, economics, HR etc, which will pave more ways and bring greater opportunities for the students, in the present market scenario by meeting the recruiters needs.
