CAT 2014 to provide admission in 19 IIMs

CAT aspirants can now choose from 19 IIMs instead of 13 in last year.

This raise in the number of IIMs have come after the budget declaration of Finance Minister Mr. Arun Jaitley this year. The new IIM’s a total of six would come up in due course of time in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha and Punjab. The academic session of these IIMs would begin from 2015-16.

Presently 13 IIM’s are running in the states of Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, Kozhikode, Indore, Shillong, Tiruchirappalli, Raipur, Udaipur, Rohtak, Ranchi and Kashipur.

Candidates who are going through to the CAT 2014 examination are allowed to apply for PGP courses in all of the 19 IIMs by selecting their choices in the given boxes of the form.
