Visually impaired 18-year-old scores 89 percent in CBSE Class 12 board examsBeating all odds the 18 year old Punjab girl Gurleen Kaur scored 89 per cent in her class 12 board exams.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Sunday announced the class 12 results on its official website, cbse.nic.in

Gurleen is a student of Cambridge International School for Girls. She is suffering from disability since birth. She loves to play games on laptop. "I am a gadget freak. I love to play games and work on the laptop," she told HT

On sharing her future plans,Gurleen's mother wants her daughter to become an IAS officer.

This year, nearly 27 lakh candidates appeared for both class 10 and class 12 examination out of which 10,98,891 appeared for class 12 exam.
