IIT JEE Advance 2018 to follow the GATE format.

The rules of IIT JEE 2018 to be held on 20^th May have been framed on the basis of Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering. IIT JEE will be a computer based test for the first time.

Candidates may be permitted to their seats 30-40 minutes before the start of examination and can log in and start reading instructions 20 minutes before the actual beginning of the test. However they will not be allowed to entre the examination hall after 9:30 am for morning session and 2:30 pm for evening session. They will also not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the completion of the exam time.

Besides a proposal to provided scribble pads for rough work, which will have to be submitted afterwards has also been made.
