UPSC wants an Aptitute test in stead of Preliminary Exam for Civil Services

UPSC has advocated change in the exam patteren for Civil Services. Its Chairman Prof. D.P Aggarwal has suggested to replace present trend of a Preliminary exam with more fruitful and generalised Apptitude test.So that equal plateform could be provided to aspirants from all the streams of education system in India.He has also suggested that the present patteren of  mains exam should not be changed till the formation of a committee that could look at its various aspects.
