New Delhi: More than 500 students from the northeast states interacted with police officers on the issue of security and enjoyed a colorful cultural programme as part of the Delhi University's Northeast Festival on Monday.
Organized with an aim to foster a special bond with students of the region and make them aware of safety measures, the festival was also attended by Minister of State for Rural Development Agatha Sangma.
The students also had an interactive session with senior police officers in which steps taken by Delhi Police on safety measures on the campus were discussed and suggestions taken.
