Gurukulam Institute of Technical Education - GITE

Gurukulam Institute of Technical Education is a self financed engineering institute. It was established in the year 2007 by Mata Mansa Devi Educational Society, which is also its managing body. A sanction was accorded by AICTE vide their letter no. F.No.47  (DAL.Hr.) 1/NWRO/3701 dated 29/08/08 for establishment of diploma level institution of the same name. The institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) to conduct courses in various discipline of engineering. The institute is also affiliated to Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula (HR). Approval was accorded by HSBTE vide their memo no. 2199 dated 28/08/08. Gurukulam Institute of Technical Education, Bhurewala was established to provide technical education to the youth which in turn would meet the technological needs of the region and the country.

Location – Institute located in serene environment in the foothills of Shivalik. To be specific, it is situated on main Panchkula - Raipur Rani - Naraingarh Road.

Hostel - The institute provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls.

Library - The institute has a well stocked library offering books on various subjects.

Transport – Haryana roadways bus pass facility is provided to the students. The institute also has its own Fleet of buses providing excellent transport facility from Ambala, Panchkula, Barwala, Raipur Rani, Sahazadpur & Naraingarh. Students have to apply for this facility.  The region is well connected with all major towns & cities by public transport system.

Internet Laboratory – Round the clock internet facility is provided by the institute through internet laboratory which has a fibre optic connectivity of 4 mbps speed.

Class Rooms - Gurukulam Institute of Technical Education has spacious lecture and tutorial rooms facilitated with electric gadgets, glossy chalkboards and flannel boards and modern furniture.

Sports – The institute has facilities for both outdoor as well as indoor sports.

Communication Skills Laboratory – Communication skills of the students are honed through interactive workshops, self-assessments, role-playing activities and video simulations. These offer practical experience initiating and responding to various forms of communication.

Placement Cell – Industry-institute interaction is fostered by training and placement officer.

Medical Facility – The institute extends medical support offered by medical specialists.

Scholarships / Free Ships - The Institute offers various types of scholarships to the meritorious students as per the policy of the institute on the bases of marks obtained in their qualifying examination.
