DPG Polytechnic

D.P.G. Polytechnic is a private, self financed institute providing technical education. It is managed by Chudhary Partap Singh Memorial Charitable Trust. Established in 2007, it is affiliated with State Board of Technical Education Haryana. The courses provided by it have been recognized by Govt. of Haryana and AICTE. D.P.G.P. offers various diploma programs of three year duration. It is further efforts are afoot to obtain accreditation from NATIONAL Board of Accreditation. The polytechnic is equipped with all the modern infrastructural facilities which equip the students with requisite qualification, training and gainful employment. The institute play an important role in offering quality vocational and technical education to the students so that they can take on the challenges of life.

D.P.G. Polytechnic Facilities

Hostel – The polytechnic has separate hostel for boys and girls.

Class Room - The polytechnic has spacious architecturally designed lecture and tutorial rooms, equipped with electronic gadgets, glossy chalkboards and flannel boards and furnished with adequate modern furniture.

Library – The library has a large collection of books, magazines, journals, video cassettes and CD-ROMs. The library can accommodate more than 70 persons at a time. It is fully computerized and offers Book Bank facility. With this facility students do not need to buy text books from the market. The Institute provides the required text books to every student right in the beginning of the semester. The students can use these books for the whole semester. Even after passing out from the Institute, a student can avail the library facility at D.P.G. Polytechnic as alumni at the nominal charges to be fixed by an Alumni Society. Relationship with the library and the Institution is a continuing affair of the students.

Computer Laboratory – The Institute has two fully air-conditioned computer laboratories for students. There are about 60 desktops facilitated with an internet connection. All PC’s are interconnected through local area net working for better accessibility. Round the clock internet connectivity is provided to students on totally cost free basis.

Science Laboratory - The laboratory is equipped with various models, different type of apparatus and testing materials. The physics and chemistry laboratories have all the equipments catering to the practical requirements of the study.

Language Laboratory – The language laboratory inculcates and enhances good communication techniques. LCD/DVD projectors and other equipment help students to gain experience in better communication and fosters confidence among them. These also provide an essential ability towards becoming an entrepreneur/manager/ team leader.

Sports Facilities – A number of on-campus facilities for indoor & outdoor sports includes badminton, cricket, football, and a number of other activities. The students sports club helps in achieving considerable success in the expansion of intramural and recreation programmes. The institute also conducts a series of regular fitness assessments programmes. Various inter-institute competitions are held from time to time.

Placement Cell - The polytechnic’s training and placement cell provides various relevant training to students and staff.  The Institute has good rapport with other organizations and sponsors the students of various courses for training to these reputed organizations.
