Government Polytechnic - Amravati

Government   Polytechnic,   Amravati   is  an autonomous institute of Government  of  Maharashtra  which is one  of  the  oldest  institutes established  in 1955.   Amravati  is  the  most    pious,  culturally  alive   with   rich  traditions  and  a  well-known  educational centre not only in Vidarbha  but also  in entire Maharashtra State.  This  city is  just 150  Kms away from Nagpur,  the second  capital of  M.S.  and the main  railway line (Badnera Rly. Station  ) is   just  11Kms  away  from Amravati.

S. had awarded academic autonomy to this institute from 1995.
