Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School - Anandpur Sahib

Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School Anandpur Sahib was established in 1972 under the aegis of Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society Amritsar. The aim of opening this School is to provide a good education. The School Campus is very near to the needs of the students. It gives a peaceful and healthy environment .The School has double story building with facilities like water cooler and school furniture.

Staff: - The School is headed by well experienced and dedicated Principal with a team of 15 well qualified and experienced teachers. They are taking all round developments of the students.

Library: - Library is the light house of knowledge. It is a source of knowledge .That is why to meet this requirement we have a school library with good collection of books.

Computer Lab: - Information Technology is the need of the day. The Computer lab of the school is providing practical knowledge of the computer to the students.

Science Lab: - Our school has also a Science Lab with all the modern facilities for practical work.

Academic Achievements: - The School has shown excellent academic results in the session 2012-13.

• We are going to start smart classes from this session.
• Trip and Tour of different classes are organized during the month of October.
• Our students participated in different co-curricular activities: Dances, Bhangra, Gidda, Songs etc.
• The birth of Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji is celebrated in the month of July every year.
• Children Day is celebrated in the month of November every year.
• Students get positions in religious competitions.
• Our School Band is also famous and participates in various occasion of Gurpurbs.
• Sahaj Path is also done by the students and teachers.
• All the class rooms are white washed and TV, Audio, Video system is given by Dr. Manjit Singh Bedi.
