Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya - VKV Oyan

This residential school for boys, started in 1977, is one of the first seven VKVs started in Arunachal Pradesh in that year. It is located in the East Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh and is 30 kilometers from Pasighat, district Head-Quarters of East Siang district. Upper siang District in the north, Assam in south, Lower Dibang Valley District in East, and West Siang District in the west surround this district. The inhabitants of the district are mainly ‘Adi’ Tribe.This co-educational school is up to Secondary Level, and is residential in nature with hostel-facility for boys only.
