The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) is a renowned front-runner in the field of international education. This programme is known for encouraging students to be active learners, well-rounded individuals and engaged world citizens.

IB offers three programs:-

The Primary Years Program - is for students aged 3 to 12 focuses on the all-round development of child in the classroom and in the world outside.

The Middle Years Program is for aged 11 to 16 students, which provides a framework of academic challenge and life skills, achieved through embracing and transcending traditional school subjects.

The Diploma Program for students aged 16 to 19 is a demanding two-year curriculum leading to final examinations and a qualification that is welcomed by leading universities around the world. Each programme includes a curriculum and pedagogy, student assessment appropriate to the age range, professional development for teachers and a process of international school authorization and evaluation.

Facilities

Sangam School offers prestigious IB Diploma programmes which is unique in nature. This programme is a specifically designed educational program for students in grades 11 and 12.

Sangam School of Excellence uses Basecamp for all the collaborative projects running within the school and even with experts outside school. The basecamp streamlines the schools ongoing projects and keeps record of all of them. Basecamp is also used by teachers and students as a

VLE solution.

Sangam school uses turnitin.com services. Teachers as well as students get an account, where students submit their assignments and teacher do give them the feedback on their work. The turnitin services have grossly helped us with the academic honesty issues.

The EBSCO databases are a brilliant resource and all Extended Essay research in the IB Diploma Programme. School scribes to: Business Source Elite, Literary Reference Centre and Science Reference Centre. While using the Ebscohost databases we are able to develop among students the habit of valuing the Intellectual Porperty Rights of the authors who create all knowledge. We inculcate among students the spirit of Academi Honesty even in their daily basis internet research.

V-SAT - A Benchmark in the history of education and a revolutionary change is V-SAT. This digitally enabled ‘Lecture Platform’ allows instructors to use animation, video, audio and other presentation tools to enhance the learning process. This virtual platform blends the strengths and advantages of traditional methods of education with cutting-edge technology. It brings home the best quality teaching practices available in India today.

1. SAT - The first in Rajasthan SAT exam centre for all the 2,200 Four Year Colleges and 1,700 two year colleges of United States including the ivy league, was set at Sangam School of Excellence which now has been administering examinations from last 4 years. It remains open on all 6 dates throughout the year.
2. It is an international standard practice to take the PRE SAT EXAMS or NMSQT before the students actually take the main SAT and here  I have a good news  to  share  that we are going  to  start offering  the PSAT and NMSQT exams also  from  July 2013.

Remedial and Prep Classes - Remedial classes act as a safety valve for students having unfamiliarity regarding a topic in any subject. These classes stimulate positive environment for students with low self esteem where they are motivated to come up with their problems.

Transport - The need for safe passage of each child to school and back home is of paramount importance to us. To ensure safe travel the school has its own fleet of school buses designed as per standards and manned by trained drivers and personnel sensitized to the needs of small children. For supervision and monitoring a transport attendant is on board throughout the journey. Mobile phones have been provided in each bus that ensures efficiency in terms of service and better communication in case of emergencies. Besides ensuring the implementation of the safety norms, all staff on the bus is well trained in first aid and emergency management.

Admission Procedure:

• Parents are taken to visit around the school facility.
• Orientation of the different curricula offered at this stage.
• In-charges/ Coordinators help/ guide parents select the appropriate curricula for the child. We provide them a comparative between/among the options and we allow the decision be taken by the parents. The school respects the freedom of parents/ students to decide what to finally study.
• Parents Purchase school prospectus along with admission form.
• Registration by duly filled admission form along with the registration fee (in cash/ cheque).
• The age of a student entering class LKG should be 4 years as on 1st of April when officially an academic session begins.

 Admission Criteria

The admission selection is conducted as follows:

• For LKG to V (CBSE and CIPP) - Interaction with Academic In-charge and the Principal
• VI - VIII (CBSE and CP) - Interaction with Academic In-charges and with the Principal
• IX (CBSE and IGCSE) - Interaction with Academic In-charges. Aptitude test only in CBSE. Final interaction with the Principal.
• Class XI (CBSE) - Admission in particular courses is decided on the basis of the scores in the class X board results.

IBDP YEAR I/ A Level

At SSE it is a procedure to meet the student in person and interview. The interview is of a generic nature that tries to probe into the student’s strengths and his passions. The interview process does not intend to select or reject a student; rather it works to place him/her well in subject/ courses.

Direct Admission to IB DP (YEAR-2)

A student coming from another IB school having studied the first year may join the second year at SSE provided all credits are duly transferred via Managebac and SSE has the desired subject combination on offer.

Declaration of Admission Status (Via Admission Letter);

• Pending (Stating reasons and dates of any documents submissions)

Parents submit all relevant documents (any attachments required by the form) and deposit the fee.

• Original Transfer Certificate/ School leaving certificate
• Attested photocopy of Mark sheet of last exam passed
• Copy of Attested Birth Certificate
• Three passport size photographs of student and one of each parent and of guardian in case of hostel admission.
• Transport form duly completed
• Original Migration Certificate (in case the student changes the board of studies or the State/ country)
• For class IX and above a Character Certificate/ Letter of Reference from the Principal/ Head of the previous school
• Student himself/herself writes statement of Purpose (Min. 100 words) stating reasons to join this school.
