The Pioneer School

The Pioneer School was founded in the year 2003 and is run by the Pioneer Kumaraswamy Centenary Foundation. The Pioneer School building is nested in a picturesque landscape of about 3 acres, at the Southern tip of India, in Kanyakumari District where the three oceans meet - The Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. This School is an English Medium School affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education New Delhi. The Pioneer School is a “Pioneer” in every sense of the word. The Pioneer spirit pervades the entire campus and the programmes of the school as, here at - The Pioneer School we believe that 'Learning' must begin as a joyous activity and persist throughout a child's learning stage. The Pioneer School is committed to provide quality education with a unique approach and value based learning. Facilities

• School building is nested in the picturesque landscape. The school is situated in 3 acres of land having a large play ground.
• Classrooms - Well equipped, well lit, and spacious classrooms provide the learner with comfortable and homely ambience. A special place is provided outside in an open area near the garden along with all kindergarten classes for children loaded with toys and educational games to play with. It will also be utilized for group activities.
• Laboratories - The specially designed computer center, the science labs, the Maths lab, the geography lab etc., will serve additional knowledge for making learning visible.
• The Smart E-Classes - A novel & practical method of learning subjects through latest technology. Intel Teach Program is followed in our school.
• Training and Development Centre. Learning never ends at any stage of life. The school works with this philosophy so we will have several successful facilitators in their own field and areas to conduct the in-house training and seminars to enrich and guide the teachers, parents and students.
• Library - Well enriched and well built up library specially are designed for the junior and senior classes. Its seating arrangement is one of its own kinds where children will love to sit, read, and access the books and periodicals. There are more than 3,000 books, periodicals, journals and news papers etc.
• Art and Craft Room - Where children will be exposed to create something new of their own.
• Transport - Transport facilities are provided by efficient sectors approved by the management along with an intensive support in and around. Enquiries regarding transport are accessible in the school office.
