Jesus and Mary Academy

Jesus and Mary Academy is one of the oldest schools of Patna City. It was founded in the year 1982 and is the first school in Patna City to be affiliated to The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE). New Delhi since August 1999. It is a co-educational Christian Minority institution by reason of religion, established and managed by Jesus and Mary Christian Minority Educational Society, Patna, a society registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI, 1860. The medium of teaching is English in the Institution. In the beginning, the Academy started as a preparatory School but with passage of time and excellence in curricular and co-curricular activities and the growing popular demand from the parents, new classes were added and today it has grown into a fully fledged institution imparting education up to Std. XII. The Society was primarily established solely for the educational and cultural development of the people of the area, admits children desirous of receiving education in Jesus and Mary Academy irrespective of religion, caste, creed, sex, language and location.
