Academic Heights Public School - AHPS Rajkot

Academic Heights Public School, Rajkot, is a recognized senior-secondary, co-educational school where discipline and hardwork are given the utmost regard. We, as a school, work as a team for better future of the students that come to the school. AHPS, Rajkot is an English medium school, which is following CBSE curriculum and focuses on the individual development of the child.

Started in April 2010, since then we have introduced several activities ranging from indoor games, outdoor games, educational activities, like debates, recitation programmes, the students at AHPS develop in all fields.

Leaving behind the old and mundane methods of teaching, we have devised a new way of teaching that is not only interesting but also interactive and effective. Through our teaching methods, we keep students curious to learn more. Curiosity is highly encouraged at AHPS where children can ask anything to their teachers and they will get the correct answers to their questions.

We have a dedicated team of teachers who are very experienced and work dedicatedly for the well-being of the student. As the saying goes “Teamwork wins Championships”, we truly believe in these words. Through this teamwork only we had won several certificates & trophies in the Inter AHPS Mega competitions and got the opportunity to meet the Flying Sikh of India, Padma Shri Milkha Singh.

Facilities

Library-additional

The library of our school serves as a store house of information related, prescribed text books encyclopedia, journals and so on. Its purpose is to inculcate reading habit among students.

Computer Lab

In our school the infrastructure of the computer lab is well equipped with latest computers and technologies. The students visit lab as per their time table regularly and get first hand information and acquaintance on computer science.

CCTV Surveillance

The entire school premises in under CCTV surveillance which is personally monitored by the qualified supervisor. It helps in ensuring discipline and punctuality among students. Also keep parents mind at ease about security and environment. CCTV surveillance system in our school is way of ensuring safe, secure and healthy learning environment

Transport Facility

The school provides transport facility for its students. To ensure safe travel, trained drivers are hired. Besides ensuring the implementation of the safety norms all staff on the bus is trained in aid and emergency management.

Assembly Area

The school has a spacious and well equipped assembly area for conducting workshops, seminars and meetings. It also performs multipurpose program and extracurricular activities like aerobics, yoga, etc.

Parking Area

It also has the parking facility for the school buses and other public transport. The staff has its own parking area separately.

Playground

The school has a sports complex on the campus which includes a big playground. The school holds football and cricket matches. Students should be able to live life to the fullest through sports activities. Apart from this, it has indoor play area where students can play indoor games.There is a garden area where different kinds of flowers blossom and spread their pleasant smell. The garden looks beautiful and attractive and enhances the school atmosphere.

House System

The house system provides a good platform for the holistic development of students. It forms the basis of all competitions and activities in school and fosters team spirit group loyalty and health competition.

The school is divided into four houses namely: Green, Brown, Blue and Red. Students exhibit their talents and skills to bring glory to their respective houses.
