This school, started in the year 1981, is located in the Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh and is 10 kilometers away from Hyuliang, district Head-Quarters of Anjaw district. China in North and east, Changlang district in south and lower Dibang Valley and Assam surround this district in the west. The inhabitants of the district are mainly of Mishmi Tribe. Mishmis are economically very poor and educationally backward. Their cultural richness is commendable. Amiliang is a very remote place at an altitude of about 5000 feet AMSL and close to MacMohan line. It is 100 Kms away from the nearest town –Tezu. During rainy season the entire area gets cut off from the other part of the country.The School caters the educational needs of the local Mishmi tribe who otherwise are not aware of the importance of quality education. Almost all the children of this school are below poverty line and the school is run by monthly/yearly contributions from few well-wishers. Some of the children are assisted by well wishers under the scheme “Sponsor-a-Child” Scheme. This school is up to Secondary Level, and is a co-education school, with hostel facility available for boys only
